Guest Reader is Still a Student at Burr!
Kerri Cestaro and Dawn Ferrara's third-grade class at Burr can't get enough of the periodic visits from fourth grader Liam.
Liam visits to read books from the Gilbert The Opossum series, including Tuesday's selection, "Roses Are Pink, Your Feet Really Stink."
Each book features Gilbert making a misstep, then owning up to his moral transgression. In the latest reading, Gilbert sends a hurtful Valentine's Day card, but subsequently repents.
Liam reads each story with particular flair, then quizzes the third graders about the lessons they took away from the book.
