Burr Hosts Basketball Knockout to Support ALS Association
Burr students continue to do their part to combat ALS.
On Thursday, fifth graders arrived at school early for a basketball knockout tournament. That capped a week in which every grade participated, raising $555.
That contribution will go toward the intermediate school's year-round effort to support the ALS Association.
During the annual ALS Ride For Life in May, Burr once again will present the foundation with a check from the donations the students raised throughout the school year.
